Many products supplied by Shima Trading, such as our cosmetic ingredients and anti-corrosion paints, have a direct bearing on our customers’ competitiveness in terms of performance and quality. For that reason, we have created structures to ensure effective quality control and assurance in each business area. This is especially important for our pharmaceuticals business, and we have established a dedicated Quality Assurance Office to carry out testing under the Japanese Pharmacopoeia system. We also maintain strict compliance with GMP at the Kobe Technical Center. In addition to quality, we also take great care over all aspects of our supply chains for imported and domestic products, including inventories, delivery times, business continuity planning, and sustainability.
