Casting Parts
Casting is a process that involves pouring liquid metal into a mold, which is then allowed to solidify to create the desired shape. First a mold is prepared in the desired shape, then metal is melted down in a furnace to liquid form and poured into the mold cavity. The liquid metal is then allowed to cool, and the mold is removed resulting in the cast part. Casting allows you to produce complex shapes and larger parts that can be cost prohibitive using other manufacturing methods.
